The prints below were produced in Ulverston in the late 17th and early 18th Centuries. They illustrate the variety of activities that were taking place in the town at that time, over 300 years ago. The town was in an important trading position, being the first port of call for travellers coming from Lancashire over the sands. There are coach timetables, theatre posters, adverts for seeds and produce, property for sale, ship sailing times, freight rates, reward notices, job adverts, etc.
